Foreign players in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Ireland team


Five foreign players have got the chance of playing for the Ireland cricket team in this World Cup. Andre Botha and Albert Van der Merwe belong to South Africa. Trent Johnston was born in Australia. He had grown up and started his career there only. He played for the New South Whales local team. He settled in Ireland. Nigel Jones belongs to New Zealand. He started his career with local team South Canterbury. Pacer Alex Cusack is an Australian. He learnt cricket in Ireland only. He is basically a carpenter.
