Imran Tahir had played for Pakistan in under-19 world cup. He led the local team of Pakistan as captain till 2006. He went to South Africa for his girl friend and settled there. He had taken 500 wickets in his first class career for ten teams. He is a leg spinner. Now he had become the big weapon for South Africa. Till now he had not yet played any International cricket match. South Africa is planning to introduce him in this world cup. He is the only foreign player in South Africa team.
