India & Sri Lanka

India is one of the truly unforgettable travel experiences in the world with it's multi-dimensional cultures, geography and classes of living. It history has been of tribes, trades, Royalty, colonisation, independence and an eternal evolution of borders and power, yet much of it's tradition and way of life remains unchanged. Sri Lanka is a considerably more relaxed and calmer travelling experience, but that is not to say that the island nation is any less rewarding. Each part of the Subcontinent is unique in its offerings but common in its singular love of cricket.

Western Province, Sri Lanka Home to vast Plantations in the north and beautiful beaches in the south, in between is Colombo, the countries capital and engine room. With a strong colonial history from Portuguese traders to British settlers you'll meet Sri Lankans from every corner of the country and experience some great nightlife.

Punjab Tucked away in the north West corner of India at the foothills of the mighty Himalayan mountain range, the Punjab (meaning 5 rivers) is India's bread basket and it's most fertile state. It's major hub, Chandigarh is the first modern architecturally designed city in India with a grid like street design consisting of broad tree lined avenues. The centre of the Sikh religion in India, the Punjabi population are the most travelled and have a reputation for awesome food.

Maharashtra Stretching from the unspoilt Konkan coast on the Arabian Sea to the hot and dusty interior this is India's second most populous state thanks to the 17 million residents of Mumbai. The mega city is at once the financial, fashion, film and fusion point of India with a heady mix of unaffordable real estate, super rich mohguls, stunning Bollywood beauties, and large tropical urban forests. It is a city that must be experienced to be believed and where else would you rather be during a World Cup Final than in the world's biggest cricket loving city?
