Dhoni: Indian batsman not scared of Aussie pacemen

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni says his batsmen aren't worried about the prospect of facing Australia's much vaunted pace attack in their World Cup quarterfinal on Thursday.

Dhoni told reporters Wednesday that bowling short-pitched deliveries at Indian batsmen was "not a new strategy" and reminded everyone that the team "had won test matches at Perth and Durban" in recent years.

Australia captain Ricky Ponting had earlier indicated that he was banking on the pace trio of Brett Lee, Shaun Tait and Mitchell Johnson to unsettle the Indian batsmen early.

Australian batsman Mike Hussey is expecting the fast bowlers to use bouncers as a weapon against India.
