The dream match will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at PCA stadium in Mohali.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday had extended an invitation to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Gilani to watch the crucial match along with him.
The invitation letter to Pakistani Prime Minister said that “"It gives me great pleasure to invite you and your gracious wife to visit Mohali and join me, my wife and the millions of fans from our two countries to watch the match."
India qualified for the semifinal after defeating Australia by five wickets in a quarterfinal match.
On the other hand, Pakistan defeated West Indies in a quarterfinal match to book its berth in semifinal.
There is huge excitement over the match in both the countries. Several celebrities are expected to land up at Mohali to watch this crucial match.
